3:08 pm - Ladies and gentlemen, a plea...

As most of you probably know, I've spent the last two summers doing shows with the Orlando Shakespeare Festival's Young Company. I can honestly say that it's been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I've never learned so much in a month.

Right now we have only 15 people signed up to audition, and we need at least 25 in order for auditions to happen. If you haven't yet made plans for your summer, or if you'd like to do some great acting and be a part of a wonderful community, I urge you to schedule an audition.

This year's production is Richard III.

Auditions: April 29, 2006 from 1pm-5pm
Rehearsals: May 30 - June 23, 2006
Public Performances: June 22, 23, 24 at 7pm, June 25 at 2pm
Strike/Cast Party: June 25, 5pm-8pm

You can still try out even if you are graduating this year. If you'd like more information, visit the web site at http://shakespearefest.org/tyc.htm or talk to me. I promise an unforgettable experience for anyone who takes part.

^_^ Michelle

Attention all drama duckies!

If you are interested in acting for Mystery Dinner Theatre 8, please e-mail me as quickly as possible!!! We will be casting very soon, and we need to know how many people we have. There won’t be any auditions, we’ll just look at the list of people and have Ms. Bruner help us decide who is best for each part ^.^

P.S. If you know anyone who is interested in MDT 8, please let them know about this! Thanks ^.^

In addition to techies for this show, Dawson and I are on the look-out for anyone interested in being a stage manager. Hey everyone! I thought this would be a fun idea, since a lot of our drama duckies have livejournals. ^.^ It's a place where we can post information from meetings that people might have missed. We could post info for upcoming meetings and performances as well. If you know of a fun show at another school or local theatre, post it and we can all try to go see it!
